Romania, Kingdom. An Order of the Star of Romania, Knight, c.1914 United Republic of 1919 but re-enlisted with the(Ordinul Steaua Romaniei). Instituted in 1877 by Prince Carol I. Type I (1877 1932). Military Division. In silver gilt, a blue enamel cross with clusters of smooth rays in each quadrant with crossed swords denoting a wartime award, the obverse medallion features a superimposed eagle on a red enamelled field, surrounded by a blue enamel ring inscribed IN FIDE SALUS, encircled by a green enamelled wreath, the reverse bears the crowned monogram of King
