Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, surrounding a central German national eagle in mid flight, clutching a bullseye target overlaid a cut out background, the reverse hollow and with a narrow barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 45. 52 mm (w) x 74. 10 mm
