Original French Napoleonic 1st Empire Officers Percussion Pistol converted from Flintlock Martini-Henry Rifles Aircraft a write-offOriginal Item: Only One Available. This nice pistol probably started life as a Flintlock pistol for an Officer circa 1810 and later, perhaps 1830 being converted to the Percussion ignition system. This was a common practice as the time, as the time and cost of conversion was far less than a new weapon. It is fitted with an 8" smooth bore barrel of approximately . 65 bore and measures 14" in overall length. The pistol is fitted with a fine Walnut
