Original British 1810 New Land Pistol of 11th Regiment Light Dragoons 40mm BOFORS Original Item: These are forOriginal Item: Only One Available. Often referred to as a New Land Pistol this Dragoon Pistol in . 65 bore has a swivel ramrod which allowed a Dragoon to reload whilst on horseback without fear of dropping his ramrod. Features brass mounted walnut wood stock with a 10" barrel, the pistol is nearly 16" in overall length. The lock is marked with Crown over G. R. and TOWER across the tail. The number 78 is impressed in the wood around the trigger guard.
