Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II inside of a laurel wreath, the reverse with an inscription of SCHLESWIG HOLSTEIN 1848 1849, unmarked, measuring 33. 25 mm in diameter, weighing 15. 1 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in better than very fine condition.
