Original Italian M1871/1915 Vetterli Rifle Shortened Bayonet by Fabbrica Nationale d'Armi, Brescia with Scabbard German Holsters This is likely based onOriginal Item: Only One Available. This very early Vetterli bayonet started life with a long 20" plus blade, with the long spring for the bayonet catch, and without the cut out lower muzzle ring that was introduced in 1875 indicated by Anthony Carter in his work World Bayonets 1800 to the Present.
