This is an outstanding pair of buckles which may have been brought back by an American soldier serving in Cuba or the Philippines during the Spanish American War. These M1886 Spanish belt buckles would have been worn by Spanish Infantry serving in theater during the war. The first bucket depicts an infantry horn with a crossed matchlock rifle and sword under a crown. This likely denotes general infantry but we
