This colorway was inspired by a painting of Lois Mailou Jones called Les Vendeuses de Tissue

which is a luxurious yarn base made of 50% superwash merino and 50% silk

The tricky part was creating four colorways that both represent the four seasons of spring

and lilac fairly evenly spaced around the skein

There are lots of images with color as he describes trees and flowers and crags, and I used the colors in the images to create the colorway.
