This is an ultra rare uniform patch insignia from World War One for the Headquarters Company of the 9th Infantry Regiment, part of the U. S. Army 3rd Infantry Brigade. The patch features a black felt pentagon background that measures about 4 inches across, with a sewn on felt white five pointed star with a very nice hand embroidered Indian Head in the middle. These patches are extremely rare and one with this high
