Fired once to 1000 degrees celsius, then stamped, waxed, dipped individually into a glossy transparent glaze and sponged with cobalt blue decoration. Once dry the pieces are ready for their final 1260 degree firing. Also a great size for planting bulb displays. Dishwasher and microwave safe though discouraged for longevity. Frost safe to 5
