A Yugoslavian Socialist 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics Participant’s Medal Auction maker marked “FLL 43” (FriedrichIn Bronze, a uniquely shaped medal, the obverse presenting the 1984 Winter Olympic logo, the reverse presents a lightly pebbled field with an M Maker Mark, measures 60. 15mm (w) x 65. 81mm (h), weighs 124 grams, light wear, lovely patina, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia hosted the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo. The medal was designed by N. Mitric. Ten thousand medals were produced.
