Germany, Heer. An EM/NCO’s M35 Tropical Field Cap, by Clemens Wagner visually-hidden fatigue of the buffer pad(Heer Tropen Schiffchen M35). A well preserved Heer EM NCOs M35 tropical fieldcap, constructed of an olive drab cotton blended cloth. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which scallop toward the front. The crown is flanked on each side by ventilation holes, both reinforced with metal grommets. Stitched onto the peak of the cap is an insignia consisting of a light brown rayon backer bearing a machine embroidered silver grey Wehrmacht
