Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from a clasp of crossed swords, in turn on a suspension loop with its period original ribbon, the obverse of the medal featuring a monogram of Prince Georg Victor, the reverse with an inscription of FR VERDIENST, unmarked, the medal measuring 30. 32 mm in diameter, the swords measuring 31.
