Bavaria, Kingdom. An Order Of Merit Of The Crown, Collar, C.1920 Archive HMCS Iroquois returned to her(Verdienstorden der Bayerischen Krone). Established on 19 March 1808 by King Maximilian Joseph I. (1808 1918). Manufactured as a museum specimen, a chain meant to accompany the Order of Merit of the Bavarian Crown constructed of gilded silver, alternating links consisting of the initials of the founder (M J), the Bavarian crown, and green laurel wreaths containing the capital letters of the motto Virtus et Honos in light blue on a white background.
