An extensive and fascinating lot of 26 private wartime photographs from the estate of Admiral Otto Schniewind (Knights Cross of the Iron Cross, 20 April 1940), primarily consisting of unpublished and candid images depicting Schniewind in uniform (some with the Knights Cross clearly visible) on board Kriegsmarine vessels and on land, many showing the Admiral on review of both Enlisted personnel and Officers, the latter
