The neckline is round and the back is slightly v shaped and is about 12" lower than the shoulders. This dress is a sheath style with vertical seams down the body of the dress to accentuate the figure. We love the beautiful draping of gathered fabric panels along the tops of the shoulders which are secured with loops across the top. There is a metal zipper down
