This Jaeger Rifle started life as a FLINTLOCK around 1820, as indicated on the butt plate tang, but was later converted to Percussion Cap ignition system. It has a heavily rifled 22 1 2" octagonal barrel, and is set up as a Sharp Shooter's gun with double Set Triggers.
