Constructed of gilded and ribbed brass, the exterior bearing a central silvered and blackened 1914 Iron Cross, flanked by clusters of oak leaves, opening on a swivel hinge with a functional push button spring release, unmarked, measuring 60 mm (w) x 50 mm, a superb example of patriotic jewellery sold to raise money for Germanys effort in the First World War, in extremely fine condition.
