Dr. Terron Hosten is the Medical Director and Co-owner of Fit for Life Medical Services, where he provides specialized surgical care to his patients. He is a Medical Doctor who graduated with an Honors and a Master’s in General Surgery.

Dr. Hosten also serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery, Clerkship Director, and Clinical Preceptor at St. George’s University (SGU). In addition, he holds the position of Registrar and General Surgeon at the General Hospital in Grenada.

At SGU, his primary teaching responsibilities include bedside instruction, leading small group sessions, and contributing to the Department of Surgery.

His current research focuses on advancements in the management of inflammatory bowel disease.

Mr. Cecil M. D. Mitchell R.Ph, MHM, MBA

Mr. Cecil Mark Desmond Mitchell is the Managing Director and Owner of Mitchell’s Health & Wellness Pharmacies, as well as the co-owner of Fit for Life Medical Services and Emporio Grenada Ltd.

As a registered pharmacist, he has also pursued studies in fitness and nutrition and holds certification as a Wellness Consultant. With years of experience owning and operating businesses in the health, wellness, and fitness sectors, he was inspired to further his education in the field. This led him to earn a Master’s degree in Multi Sector Health Management from St. George’s University in 2020.

His deep passion for health, wellness, fitness, and his genuine care for people continues to inspire his work.

Dr. Luis E. Rodriguez Frances is a General Practitioner who earned his Doctor of Medicine degree on August 2, 1991, from the School of Medical Sciences in Pinar del Río, affiliated with the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana.

He became a First-Degree Specialist in Comprehensive General Medicine on May 19, 1999, awarded by the same institution. Dr. Frances served at the General Hospital in Grenada from 2014 to 2016.

Since 2016, he has been delivering high-quality medical care at Fit for Life Medical Services, where he continues to serve the patients of the company.

Dr. Oluwaseun Oke is a registered medical doctor and primary care physician based in Grenada, with over a decade of experience in both the public and private healthcare sectors.

He holds a BSc (Hons.) and an MD, which he earned from the prestigious St. George’s University School of Medicine.

Dr. Oke currently practices at Fit for Life Medical Services, located on the Grand Anse main road in St. George’s, where he is known for delivering high-quality medical care with precision and attention to detail.

Dr. Charmarthy Subbarao is a highly experienced general practitioner and family doctor known for his compassionate and comprehensive approach to patient care. With a focus on preventive medicine and chronic disease management, he provides continuous care for individuals and families across all age groups. Dr. Subbarao is committed to building long-term relationships with his patients, emphasizing personalized care, clear communication, and overall wellness.

Dr. Yesmin Zurita is an experienced ophthalmologist specializing in the treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, and laser eye procedures.

She is also certified in Forensic Medicine.

With 27 years of experience in delivering exceptional eye care, Dr. Zurita has dedicated the past 22 years to serving the people of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.

Dr. Arling Smith Bosch is a highly qualified and compassionate gynecologist and obstetrician with a strong academic foundation and years of clinical experience in women’s health. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree in July 11, 2008, and became a first-degree specialist in Comprehensive General Medicine on November 18, 2010. She further specialized as a first-degree specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics on November 28, 2013.

Dr. Smith completed her medical education at the University of Medical Sciences of Matanzas. Her extensive training and commitment to professional growth have equipped her with the expertise to provide exceptional care across a wide range of women's health needs.

Since 2021, she has been consistently recognized for her excellent performance in clinical practice. She continues to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for the patients of Fit for Life Medical Services.

Dr. Dirk Burkhardt is a medical specialist with expertise in neurology, psychiatry, and psychotherapy, offering comprehensive care for a wide range of brain, nerve, and mental health conditions. He is known for combining medical and therapeutic approaches to support patients dealing with issues such as epilepsy, depression, anxiety, and neurological disorders. Dr. Niurka Moya Santos is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in Oncology and General Medicine. She earned her medical degree in 1991 from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Villa Clara, Cuba. In 1996, she became a First-Degree Specialist in Comprehensive General Medicine, enabling her to provide holistic care for individuals and families.

Dr. Moya Santos holds the academic rank of Instructor in Pathological Anatomy and has participated in oncology clinical trials since 2010. In 2015, she was awarded the title of First-Degree Specialist in Oncology, with extensive training across clinical oncology, surgery, and radiotherapy at the Celestino Hernández Robau Regional Oncological Hospital in Cuba.

Her career includes international medical collaboration across Africa and the Americas. From 2017 to 2021, she served as Head of the Oncology Department at the General Hospital in St. George’s, Grenada. Dr. Aurora Lisbel Lastre Valenzuela is a dedicated pediatrician committed to providing high-quality medical care to children of all ages. She holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and has earned a first-degree specialist certification in Pediatrics, demonstrating her focused expertise in child health and development.

She completed her medical education at the University of Medical Sciences of Camagüey. Her strong academic background, combined with practical experience, has shaped her into a compassionate and knowledgeable pediatric specialist.

Dr. Lastre Valenzuela currently performs pediatric care services, offering attentive, patient-centered care that supports both children and their families throughout all stages of growth and development.
